A public hearing will be held at the El Dorado Springs R-II High School/Middle School Library Media Center in El Dorado Springs, Missouri, Thursday, August 26th, 2020 at 7:00 p.m., at which citizens may be heard on the property tax rates proposed to be set by the El Dorado Springs R-II District. The tax rates shall be set to produce revenues which the budget for the 2020-2021 year shows to be required from the property tax. Each tax rate is determined by dividing the amount of revenue needed by the current assessed valuation. The result is multiplied by 100, therefore the tax will be expressed in cents per $100 valuation. Current Year Revenue amounts reflect a theoretical 100% collection rate.
