The St. Clair County Commission met Monday, Aug. 26, with Robert Salmon, presiding commissioner; Leroy Strope, north commissioner; Gerald Williams, south Commissioner; Debbie Peden, county clerk and Lori Rowe, administrative assistant present.

The Commissioners met with the road and bridge supervisor to discuss current locations of equipment and road conditions.

Commission met Friday, Aug. 30, with all present.

The Commissioners met with the road and bridge supervisor and a representative of Hayden Machinery. Commissioner Williams made a motion to purchase a Kabelco Track Hoe from Hayden Machinery of Government pricing. Motion carried.

Commissioner Strope made a motion to approve and sign the Order of Tax Sale Overplus 2018 redeemed by Scott A. Baker to fulfill the process for Wayne Morton; and an Order of Tax Sale Overplus 2018 redeemed by Steven Collins to fulfill the process for Gary and Paula Thomas.

Presiding Commission Salmon made a motion to purchase extended warranties for the John Deere road graders. Motion carried.

The Commission spoke with an engineer regarding replacing the rail on a bridge on SW 400 Rd.

Commissioner Strope made a motion to approve the Land Commissioners Sale of lots 38, 39 and 43 at Twin Oaks Harbor to Pamela J. Evers-Ragan for $333.48, $333.48 and $337.50. Motion carried.

Teresa Heckenlively gave the Commission updates on business development in St. Clair County.

Commissioner Strope gave an update on the repair of a bridge on NW 750 Rd.

The new sales representative from Murphy Tractor stopped by to introduce himself to the Commission. The new representative is Bob Jordan.

Commissioner Williams made a motion to approve the Land Commissioners Sale of lot 47 at Twin Oaks Harbor to Eric Henry Jr. for $356.27. Motion carried.

At 11:04 a.m. Commissioner Williams made a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss Legal Matters authorized by RSMo 610.021, Sub-section 1. Commissioner Strop seconded. Motion passed by vote.
