St. Clair County Commission met Wednesday, Nov. 16, with the following present: Robert Salmon, presiding commissioner, Leroy Strope north commissioner and Marian McCaslin, administrative assistant.

Road and Bridge Supervisor Cole Cochran and the Commission discussed truck repair and the maintenance barn.

Commissioner William telephoned to discuss the repair work that is in progress on Tucker Bridge.

Sheridan Garman-Neeman, St. Clair County Economic Developer, telephoned and gave the Commission an update on the projects she has been working on for Economic Development.

At 10:45 a.m. Presiding Commissioner Salmon and Commissioner Strope left the office to view Tucker Bridge which is under construction, located on SE 1425 Rd. They returned at 11:40 a.m.

The St. Clair County Commission met Wednesday, Nov. 23, with the following present: Robert Salmon, presiding xommissioner, Leroy Strope, north commissioner, Gerald Williams, south Commissioner, Debbie Peden, county clerk and Marian McCaslin, administrative assistant.

Sheridan Garman-Neeman, St. Clair County Economic Developer, discussed with the Commission updates on County Economic Development projects and proposals.

CART revenues received were $53,675.48; 438,547.90 was the portion going to Common Road District. (These funds are allocated per mile of road and are received monthly.)

Out of these revenues, funds are allocated to the following Special Road Districts:

Appleton Special $2,674.07; Chloe Special $1,757.24; Collins Special $3,438.09; Hillsdale Special $1,757.24; Osceola Special $2,826.87; Vista Special $2,674.07.

Commissioner Williams made a motion to accept the proposal of Mike Keith Insurance Agency for the 2017 County Health Insurance renewal at a rate increase of 5.54%. The County will continue paying 80% of the base plan and employees paying the remainder of monthly premium. Motion carried.

The Commission and Road and Bridge Supervisor Cole Cochran discussed repairs on the brush cutters, repair work and signs for Tucker Bridge.
