ST. CLAIR COUNTY SHERIFF

Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made 11 arrests and took a stealing report during the week of Sept. 2-9, 2019.

Warrant Arrests

Earl Pinkman- On Sept. 7, Earl Pinkman, 39, Sheldon, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for two counts of a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class A misdemeanor. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

The charges stem from an Osceola Police Department investigation in November of 2017.

Mitchel Nickolas- On Sept. 6, Mitchel Nickolas, 28, Appleton City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Cedar County warrant for failure to appear in court. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only.

Nicholas Himmelberg- On Sept. 5 Nicholas Himmelberg, 37, Willard, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original class A misdemeanor violation of a child protection order. Bond is set at $500 cash only.

Matthew Todd- On Sept. 5, Matthew Todd, 41, Unknown, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for a probation violation on original charges of two class D felonies possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

The original charges stem from a traffic stop by a St. Clair County deputy on a vehicle Todd was driving. During the stop, a K9 unit was called to the scene. The K9 performed an exterior sniff test of the vehicle. The K9 did alert to the presence of narcotics. During the search of the vehicle, a bag containing drug paraphernalia with residue was located along with syringes and baggies of white crystal like substance. The substance later field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Antonio Dossett- On Sept. 4, Antonio Dossett, 59, Kansas City, was arrested on St. Clair County warrants charging him with two separate counts of driving while revoked/suspended.  Total bond is set at $7,000 cash or surety.

One charge comes from a traffic stop by a St. Clair County deputy in March of 2018.

The second charge comes from a traffic stop by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in November of 2017.

Jason Williams- On Sept. 4, Jason Williams, 42, Grandview, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class C felony manufacturing a controlled substance, a class E felony keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, a class D felony unlawful possession of a firearm, and a class A misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-prior drug offense. Bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety.

The arrest comes after St. Clair County deputies and the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force conducted a search warrant on their place of residence. During the search, a marijuana grow was located inside the residence.

Essence Williams- On Sept. 4, Essence Williams, 44, Grandview, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Williams was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after St. Clair County deputies and the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force conducted a search warrant on their place of residence.

Anthony Franklin- On Sept. 3, Anthony Franklin, 25, Lebanon, was arrested on St. Clair County warrants charging him with a class D misdemeanor driving while revoked/suspended, and unclassified misdemeanor no insurance and an infraction charge for exceeding the posted limit by 1-5 mph. Total bond is set at $1,326.50 cash or surety.

The charges stem from a traffic stop by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in November of 2018.

Tye Kempinger- On Sept. 3, Tye Kempinger, 48, Kansas City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for a class D felony possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony unlawful possession of a firearm, and a class E felony unlawful use of a weapon. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office and Mid Missouri Drug Task Force investigation. A St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle that Kempinger was a passenger in. During the investigation, a scale with a white crystal like substance was located under the passenger seat where Kempinger was seated. A plastic baggie was located with a white crystal like substance. A loaded handgun was located in the vehicle as well. The white crystal like substance field tested positive for methamphetamine. Kempinger admitted to the handgun being his.

Benny Smith, Jr.- On Sept. 3, Benny Smith, Jr., 32, Lebanon, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for a probation violation on an original class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set $2,500 cash only.

The original charges stem from an Osceola Police Department investigation in May of 2018.

Rionna Williams- On Sept. 3, Rionna Williams, 28, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failure to appear in court on an original unclassified felony for armed criminal action and a class B felony unlawful use of a weapon. Bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety.

The original charges stem from an Osceola Police Department investigation in May of 2018.

Stealing in Lowry City

On Sept. 3, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on NW 301 Road in reference to stealing. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Sheryl Walters. Walters stated she was cleaning her yard with a Husqvarna weed trimmer. Walters stated when she left her residence she left the trimmer in the tall grass. When she returned, the trimmer was gone. Walters has named people of interest. Estimated loss value is $350.
