Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made three arrests and took two stealing reports during the week of Jan. 28 through February 4, 2020.
Kristen Underwood- On Jan. 30, Kristen Underwood, 28, Poplar Bluff, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a probation violation on an original class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.
The original charge stems from an Osceola Police Department investigation in March of 2017.
William Schmitz- On Jan. 29, William Schmitz, 37, Lowry City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him failure to appear in court on a class E felony passing bad check. Bond is set at $900 cash only.
Vincent Mansell- On Jan. 28, Vincent Mansell, 39, El Dorado Springs, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a class D misdemeanor no insurance and an infraction charge for no seat belt. Total bond is set at $178.50 cash only.
The original arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Mansell was driving for an equipment violation in April of 2019. While making contact with Mansell, the deputy observed an open beer can. Mansell was asked if he had been drinking and stated he had two beers. The deputy asked if he would submit to a preliminary breath test. The deputy administered the test and the results indicated a blood alcohol content of .05%.

Stealing in Collins
On Feb. 1, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on SE 925 Road in reference to a stealing. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke James Perkins. Perkins stated someone broke into his residence and took three air nailers. One was a 3 1⁄2 inch clipped-head framing nailer and the other two were gray air nailers. There was also a Muddy Pro Cam 14 trail camera stolen. Estimated loss value is $695.
Stealing in Osceola
On Jan. 30, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on SE Highway WW in reference to a stealing report. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Alex Keller. Keller stated someone forced their way into his garage located on his property and stole some of his property. Keller stated his helper noticed a Timber Pro 16” orange and White chainsaw was missing along with a Chicago Electric flux core wire welder.
On Jan. 31, Mr. Keller stopped by the Sheriff’s Office and stated there was also a chop saw taken.
