ST. CLAIR COUNTY SHERIFF

Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made three arrests and took multiple reports during the weeks of November 24, 2020 through November 30, 2020.

Arrests

Trenton Jarvis – On November 25, Trenton Jarvis, 23, El Dorado Springs, was arrested on two warrants. The first was a Misdemeanor charge for Driving While Revoked/Suspended – 1st Offense, and the second was a Misdemeanor charge for Exceeding Posted Speed Limit by 20-25 Miles Per Hour. The bond was set for a total of $680.00 cash only.

The arrest was made after Cedar County Sheriff’s Office advised they were holding Trenton on our warrants, and a St. Clair County deputy transported him from Cedar County Sheriff’s Office to St. Clair County Jail.

Patrick Taylor – On November 28, Patrick Taylor, 30, Lowry City, was arrested on a Misdemeanor charge for Resisting/Interfering with Arrest, Detention, or Stop. Patrick was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest was made after a St. Clair County Deputy responded to a call for service in regards to a reckless driver in Twin Oaks Harbor. Upon making contact with Patrick, the St. Clair County deputy advised him to come to the car and talk, to which he refused. Patrick then proceeded to walk into the water away from the deputy, and began to physically fight when said deputy attempted to escort him out of the water. Patrick was taken into custody and cleared by EMTs before being transported to the St. Clair County Jail.

Duel Hannah – On November 29, Duel Hannah, 31, Osceola, was arrested on a Felony charge for DWI – Persistent. Duel was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest was made after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle that Duel was the driver of, for an equipment violation and multiple lane violations. Upon making contact with Duel, the St. Clair County deputy reported a strong odor of intoxicants coming from him, and that his eyes were bloodshot and glassy. Duel admitted to drinking alcohol, although he refused any type of sobriety test.

Theft in Collins

On November 27, a St. Clair County deputy responded to a call for service in reference to a theft from the Paxman Amish Store in Collins. Upon arriving, the deputy made contact with Stephanie Paxman, who stated that when she returned in the morning, she noticed two wooden swings had been removed from the front of her store. Stephanie reported the value of the stolen items at a total of $360.00. A report, alongside photographs were taken by the deputy.

Theft/Property Damage on NE 151 Road

On November 27, a St. Clair County deputy responded to a call for service in regards to a theft that had happened. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Dalton Starr who stated that he heard a loud noise next to his rental truck, and observed a dark car driving away. Dalton reported that the driver’s window of his rental truck had been broken, and that a firearm had been stolen from the truck.

Stolen Medication in Osceola

On November 28, a St. Clair County deputy responded to a call for service in regards to stolen pain medication. The deputy made contact with the reporting party, Deleena Self, via phone, whom stated that after a family gathering, a bottle of Hydrocodone was missing from her nightstand. Deleena reported that approximately 70 pills were left in the bottle, and did not name a suspect at this time.

Stolen Vehicle in Osceola

On November 29, a St. Clair County deputy responded to a call for service in Osceola in regards to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Nicholas Colby, who reported that a 1992 Buick Century was stolen from his yard sometime between Midnight and 0900 hours. The vehicle was valued at $1,000.00. The deputy took a report along photographs of the area.
