Text Caster

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get immediate alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications.

We were already able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made seven arrests and took multiple reports during the week of May 4th, 2021 through May 10th, 2021.

Wingard, Deniene – On May 4th, Deniene Wingard, 61, Appleton City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a Misdemeanor charge of Driving While Intoxicated, and a Misdemeanor charge of Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Deniene was booked and released pending formal charges.

Armstrong, Wesley – On May 5th, Wesley Armstrong, 44, Independence, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Lee Summit Police Department Failure to Appear Infraction/Municipal Ordinance warrant. The bond was set at $500.00 cash or surety.

Bray, Debbie – On May 5th, Debbie Bray, 29, Humansville, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy at the St. Clair County Courthouse on a warrant for a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. The bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or surety.

Ward, Alisha – On April 5th, Alisha Ward, 31, Rockville, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for eight Bates County Failure to Appear Misdemeanor Warrants, and two Cass County Failure to Appear Misdemeanor Warrants. The total bond was set at $3,700.00 cash or surety and $10.00 cash only.

Workman, Billie – On May 5th, Billie Workman, 48, Liberty, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Billie was booked and released pending formal charges.

Wegner, Korey – On May 8th, Korey Wegner, 34, El Dorado Springs, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for a Misdemeanor charge of Peace Disturbance – 1st Offense. The bond was set at $350.00 cash only.

Jones, Dakota – On May 10th, Dakota Jones, 22, Milo, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a Felony charge of Resisting/Interfering with Arrest for a Felony, a Felony charge of Armed Criminal Action, a Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, a Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Amphetamine or Methamphetamine, and a Felony charge of Possession of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Dakota is currently being held on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges.
