Text Caster

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 7 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of January 4th, 2021 through January 10th, 2022.

Clark, Ronni- On December 4, 2021, Ronni Clark, 33, Nevada, was arrested by a St. Clair Deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for Felony charges of 1st Degree Tampering. The bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or surety.

Woolery, Justin- On December 5, 2021, Justin Woolery, 35, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair Deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for Felony charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The bond was set at $15,000.00 cash our surety.

Lysinger, James- On December 5, 2021, James Lysinger, 45, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair Deputy on a Cass County warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $100.00

Harris, Charles- On December 6, 2021, Charles, Harris, 25, Parsons, Kansas, was arrested by a St. Clair Deputy on a Labette County warrant for Felony charges of Failure to Appear.

Singleterry, Lita- On December 6, 2021, Lita Singleterry, 35, Shell City, was arrested by a St. Clair Deputy on a Vernon County warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $150.00 cash only.

Howe, Natalie- On January 6, 2021, Natalie Howe, 40, Kansas City, was arrested by a St. Clair Deputy on two Lees Summit warrants for Failure to Appear. The bonds were set at $100.00 cash or surety and $500.00 cash or surety.

Evans, Paul- On January 8, 2021, Paul Evans, 32, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair Deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for Peace Disturbance. The bond was set at $150.00 cash only.

Stolen Property in Osceola

On Saturday, January 8, 2021, deputies responded to a call for service in regards to stolen property at Crows Crossing boat ramp in Osceola. Upon making contact with the victim, he stated that someone had broken into his truck and he was missing two Milwaukee M18 HD 12 batteries and two Blue Parrott S450xt noise cancelling headsets. He reported that the estimated cost to repair the damage done to the vehicle was $700.00. A report was taken and the investigation is still ongoing.

Burglary in Collins

On Saturday, January 8, 2021, deputies responded to a call for service in regards to a burglary. Upon making contact with the victim, he stated that on October 9, 2021, someone stole multiple items from his property. He stated that he was missing a 14- inch farm bell valued at $350, a 12,000 LBS Bad Land winch valued at $500, a Vizio 32 inch TV valued at $150, Husquvarna chain saw valued at $1,000, Nigh Owl DVR valued at $500, a shotgun valued at $50, and a .22 rifle valued at $10. A report was taken and the investigation is still ongoing
