Text Caster

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 4 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of January 25th, 2022 through January 31st, 2022.

Seybold, Alan- On January 27, 2022, Alan Seybold, 59, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy for Driving While Intoxicated. The arrest was made after a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and the driver failed multiple field sobriety tests.

Stone, Dustin- On January 27, 2022, Dustin Stone, 27, Blue Springs, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a Greene County warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $500.00 cash only.

Shirk, Morgan- On January 29, 2022, Morgan Shirk, 61, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy for Driving While Intoxicated. The arrest was made after a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and the driver failed multiple field sobriety tests.

Tolbert, Jeremy- On January 31, 2022, Jeremy Tolbert, 36, Pleasant Hill, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $300.00 cash only.
