Text Caster

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 6 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of February 15th, 2022 through February 21st, 2022.

Borden, Maxwell- On February 15, 2022, Maxwell Borden, 22, Kansas City, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Cass County warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $10.00 cash only.

Huitt, Josh- On February 15, 2022, Josh Huitt, 36, Claver, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for 2nd Degree Rape. No bond was set.

Singleterry, Leta- On February 16, 2022, Leta Singleterry, 28, Schell City, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Vernon County warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $155.00 cash only.

Landis, James- On February, 18, 2022, James Landis, 32, Roscoe, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on multiple St. Clair County warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia ($5,000.00 bond), Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle ($150.00 bond), and Operating a Motor-Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility ($350.00 bond).

Tank, Ashley- On February 19, 2022, Ashley Tank, 33, Springfield, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Probation Violation, Possession of a Controlled Substance. The bond was set at $5000.00 cash only.

Bardwell, Joseph- On February 19, 2022, Joseph Bardwell, 31, Osceola, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. The bond was set at $7,500.00 cash or surety.
