Text Caster

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 7 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of April 19th, 2022 through April 25th, 2022.

Wright, Devin- On April 19, 2022, Devin Wright, 25, Kansas City, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Howell County Warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $7,500.00 cash or surety.

Whitham, Marshal- On April 20, 2022, Marshal Whitham, 20, Urich, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Cass County Warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $100 cash only.

Arduser, David- On April 20, 2022, David Arduser, 43, Osceola, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Suspended/ Revoked, and Operating a Motorcycle without a Proper Drivers License. The arrest was made after deputies responded to a call for service in regards to a suspicious person. Upon making contact with the suspect, deputies conducted a search of the vehicle and located illegal substances and paraphernalia. Arduser was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Clair County Jail.

Hagedom, Malinda- On April 20, 2022, Malinda Hagedom, 30, Lowry City, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault and St. Clair County Warrants for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The arrest was made after deputies responded to a call for service in regards to a domestic disturbance. Upon making contact with the victims, Hagedom was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Clair County Jail. The bond for the warrant was set at $7,500.00 cash or surety.

Durrosette, Michael- On April 22, 2022, Michael Durrosette, 34, Fort Scott, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Passing a Bad Check. The bond was set at $2,500.00 cash or surety.

Meineker, Jacob- On April 22, 2022, Jacob Meineker, 38, Belton, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Passing a Bad Check. The bond was set at $3,000.00 cash only.

Flores- Delgato, Jose- On April 25, 2022, Jose Flores-Delgato, 24, Overland Park, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Driving over the Posted Speed Limit, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle without a Valid Driver’s License, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The arrest was made after a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for travelling over 20 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.

Stolen Property in Appleton City

On Thursday, April 21, 2022, deputies responded to a call for service in regards to a truck being stolen at Casey’s General Store. Upon making contact with the victims, deputies took a report of the incident, looked for evidence, and searched the area for the stolen vehicle. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle and contact neighboring counties to give them a description of the vehicle. The victim stated that the truck was a copper in color Ford F-250, with V-10 Triton written on the side, with a dent on the passenger side, and a few scratches from a hay rack on a tailgate.
