Text Caster

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 6 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of May 31st, 2022 through June 6th, 2022.

Batts, Jamie- On May 31, 2022, Jamie Batts, 43, Kansas City, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The bond was set at $5,000.00 cash or surety.

Vandenburg, Ashley- On June 1, 2022, Ashley Vandenburg, 33, Richards, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Probation Revocatio with Possession of a Controlled Substance. No bond was set.

Schoonover, James- On June 3, 2022, James Schoonover, 48, Leavenworth, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Burglary and Property Damage. The bond was set at $$2,500.00 cash only.

Murphy, Mark- On June 4, 2022, Mark Murphy, 27, Tonganoxie, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Christian County warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $178.00 cash or surety.

Jones, Mickey- On June 6, 2022, Mickey Jones, 60, Osceola, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Receiving Stolen Property. The bond was set at $7,500.00 cash or surety.

Snedeger, Shelby- On June 6, 2022, Shelby Snedeger, 30, Osceola, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Animal Neglect. The bond was set at $1,000.00 cash or surety.
