Text Caster

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 2 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of September 15th, 2022 through September 22nd, 2022.

Barton, Curtis- On September 17th, 2022, George was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Osceola warrant for Operating A Vehicle with A Suspended License The bond was set at $184.50 cash.

Balthrope, Benjamin- On September 21st, 2022, Benjamin was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Henry County warrant for Fail To Appear. The bond was set at $133.50 cash.

Deputies took 16 reports and multiple calls for service.
