Text Caster

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 7 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of October 25th, 2022 through November 1st, 2022

Mullens, Michael- On October 25, 2022 Michael, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of A Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Non Support. The bond was set at $11,000 cash only.

Dill, Danny- On October 26, 2022, Danny was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Violation of An Ex-parte and Burglary. Deputies responded to a call for a violation of an ex-parte and an investigation was conducted and Danny was taken into custody, pending formal charges.

Roberts, Cameron- On October 29th, 2022, Cameron was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County Warrant for Possession of A Controlled substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.

Shepherd, Felicia- On October 29th, 2022, Felicia was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on St. Clair County and Greene County warrants for Possession of A Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia out of St. Clair County. Fail to Appear stealing, Resisting arrest out of Greene County. The bond for St Clair County was set at $5,000 cash or surety. The bond for Greene County was set at $55,000 cash or surety.

Lollas, Jonathan- On October 31st, 2022, Jonathan was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession Of A Controlled Substance. The bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

On October 28, 2022, a Search Warrant was conducted on a residence. Located in the residence was suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a firearm. John Wood and Richard Hart were both arrested pending formal charges.

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 2 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of November 2nd, 2022 through November 9th, 2022.

Davies, Kaleb- On November 4, 2022, Kaleb was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Christian County Warrant for Failure to Appear, no seatbelt. The bond was set at $10.00 cash only.

O’bryan, Michael- On November 9, 2022, Michael was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant DWI persistent. The bond was set at $5000 cash or surety.

Assisting Henry County with a pursuit

Deputies were notified of a pursuit heading into our county. Deputies assisted, the vehicle avoided our deputies’ spikes and continued, later going through a bean field and through a barbed wire fence. The vehicle was disabled after running into a creek embankment. The suspect was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
