Text Caster

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 2 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of November 10th, 2022 through November 17th, 2022.

Thompson,Michael- On November 11, 2022, Michael was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Driving While Intoxicated. Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle parked in the roadway. An investigation was conducted and Michael was taken into custody, pending formal charges.

Mindhardt, Tristtan- On November 16, 2022, Tristtan was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Domestic Assault 4th Degree. Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic Assault, an investigation was conducted and Tristtan was arrested.

Deputies took 16 reports and multiple calls for service during the week of November 10th through November 17th.
