Text Caster

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 4 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of December 27th, 2022 through January 3rd, 2023.

Landis, James- On December 28, 2022, James was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Burglary 1st, and Domestic Assault 3rd. The bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

Moore, Kevin- On December 31, 2022, Kevin was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Assault 3rd degree. Deputies were dispatched to an assault, an investigation was conducted and Kevin was arrested pending formal charges.

Matamoros, Lindayosemitte- On January 2, 2023, Lindayosemitte was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Jackson County warrant for Assault 3rd degree. The bond was set at $3,500 cash or surety.

Enloe, Vanessa- On January 2, 2023, Vanessa was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Tampering with A Motor Vehicle. Deputies were dispatched to trespassing; an investigation was conducted and Vanessa was in possession of a stolen vehicle.
