Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of May 9, 2023 through May 15, 2023

May 9, 2023- St. Clair County Deputies responded to South Walnut Street in Appleton City for a disturbance. Parties were separated.

May 10, 2023- St. Clair County Deputies responded West 7th Street in Appleton City for juvenile truancy. Juvenile Officer was notified.

May 10, 2023- St. Clair County Deputies responded to NE 1270 Private Road in Deepwater in regards to a stolen 2015 Red Chevrolet Corvette. Vehicle was located with the help of McPherson Police Department in Kansas.

May 10, 2023- St. Clair County Deputies responded to 5th Street in Osceola in regards to a bullet coming through his wall. Neighbors met the deputies to inform them that they had an accidental discharge. Deputies informed both parties that Osceola Police Department would take the case.

May 11, 2023- St. Clair County Deputies responded to NE 71 Road in Osceola in regards to a burglary. Items stolen were a TV stand, ceiling fan, Coleman lantern, two blankets, muck boots, four rain suits, game camera, two Coleman coolers, one spot light, Bosch drill set, and a leaf blower.

May 11, 2023- St. Clair County Deputies responded to East 5th Street in Lowry City in regards to a domestic disturbance. Constance Ham was arrested on a 24-hour hold.

May 12, 2023-St. Clair County Deputies responded to SE 400 Road in Osceola in reference to threats over a stolen firearm. Stolen firearm is a Hi Standard Double Nine W-101, 22 cal. Revolver.

May 12, 2023-St. Clair County Deputies responded to Truman Road in regards to locating paraphernalia. Items were located and taken to St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office for destruction.

May 12, 2023- St. Clair County Deputies responded to NE 490 Private Road in Osceola in regards to juveniles running away. Juveniles were located and Juvenile Officer was contacted. Juvenile Officer placed the juveniles in temporary housing.

May 12, 2023-St. Clair County Deputies responded to East 6th Street in Lowry City in regards to a juvenile disturbance. Juvenile Officer was contacted and transported the juvenile to temporary housing.

May 13, 2023-St. Clair County Deputies responded to NE 784 Private Road in Lowry City for a report of vandalism on Chevrolet Silverado.

May 13, 2023-St. Clair County Deputies responded to NE 1000 Road in Lowry City for a report of harassment. Individuals were notified not to return to the property.

May 13, 2023-St. Clair County Deputies responded to NE 650 Road in Lowry City for a report of trespassing.

May 13, 2023-St. Clair County Deputies responded to Goodrich Drive in Osceola in regards to threats being made.

May 14, 2023-St. Clair County Deputies conducted a traffic stop Southbound 13 Highway and SE 250th Road. Deputies arrested Domonic Foreman on five Jackson County warrants, two Chillicothe warrants, and one Cass County warrant. Foreman was transported to St. Clair County Jail and released to the jail staff.

May 15, 2023-St. Clair County Deputies responded to NW 50 Road in Osceola in regards to possible fraud.

May 15, 2023-St. Clair County Deputies responded to NE 100 Road in Osceola for a medical call. Deputies found Delbert Gould unresponsive. Coroner pronounced deceased. Investigation in ongoing.
