Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of May 23, 2023 through May 29, 2023

May 23, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to South Main Street in Lowry City for a report of vandalism.

May 23, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Goodrich Drive in Osceola in reference to a juvenile. A juvenile report was filled out.

May 23, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southbound 13 Highway and North of CC Highway for a report of an abandoned vehicle. Vehicle was towed.

May 23, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 1425 Road in Osceola in regards to threats.

May 23, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast B Highway in Osceola in regards to a runaway juvenile. Juvenile was located. Juvenile was hot lined and information was given to the juvenile office.

May 24, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to a call from Childrens Division in reference to an assault on a juvenile on Northeast 151 Road in Osceola. Suspect wanted for questioning.

May 25, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Twin Oaks Harbor for a suicidal subject. Subject went to Golden Valley Memorial by ambulance for a mental health check.

May 25, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to a walk in at the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office in regards to theft from storage unit on Northeast WW Highway. Items stolen include a twin metal bedframe, ammo cans, cast iron skillets, and multiple die-cast green metal tanks.

May 25, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northwest B Highway in Appleton City in regards to a domestic disturbance. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.

May 26, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Lowry City Cemetery in regards to a domestic disturbance. Subject was unable to be located.

May 27, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 471 Road in Osceola for possible theft. Item missing is a .30 caliber suppressor.

May 27, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Twin Oaks Harbor in regards to an individual being struck by a bb. Unable to locate where the bb came from.

May 27, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast TT Highway in Osceola in regards to a domestic disturbance. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.

May 27, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to West 3rd Street in Appleton City in regards to property damage and shots fired. MSHP and Conservation Agent assisted with the call. MSHP arrested Chase Watt and due to hostile behaviors and an unsecure patrol vehicle, St. Clair County deputies transported Chase to the St. Clair County jail for a book and release.

May 28, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 400 Road in Osceola in regards to property damage. Investigation is ongoing.

May 28, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northwest B Highway in reference to an ex-parte violation. Victor Witt was arrested for violating an ex-parte order.

May 29, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast A Highway in Lowry City in reference to a disturbance. Timothy Specker was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges for Domestic Assault 3rd Degree, Resisting/Interfering with Arrest, Detention or Stop, and Assault 4th Degree-Pursuant to subdivision (6) Special Victim.

May 29, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Timothy Specker at the St. Clair County Courthouse on a St. Clair County warrant on charges of Domestic Assault- 3rd Degree. His bond is set at $25,000 cash surety.

May 29, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northwest B Highway in reference to an ex-parte violation. Victor Witt was arrested for violating an ex-parte order.
