Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of July 4, 2023 through July 10, 2023

July 4, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast Old Highway 13 in regards to a report of theft. Subjects drove off without paying for fuel.

July 4, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 310 Privat Road in Osceola in regards to a domestic disturbance. Report was taken.

July 6, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Cody McGraw at Fulton Regional Corrections facility on St. Clair County warrant for Probation Violation.

July 6, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Kac Cooper at the St. Clair County jail on St. Clair County warrant on charges of Probation Violation- Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond set at $5000 cash surety.

July 6, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Larry Roberts at the St. Clair County Courthouse.

July 6, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 601 Road in Collins for a check the well-being. Subject was okay.

July 9, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 1351 Road in Osceola in regards to trespassing. Subject was notified not to return to the property.

July 9, 2023-St. Clair County deputies responded to North Ohio Street in Appleton City in regards to an ex parte violation.

July 10, 2023- St. Clair County deputies assisted another agency in reference to a domestic assault in their county. Report was taken and forwarded to the agency.
