Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of July 11, 2023 through July 17, 2023

July 11, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Kirk Rios at Blue Springs Police Department on a St. Clair County warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm-Felony. No Bond.

July 11, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 250 Road and 13 Highway to assist a motorist.

July 12, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to North 13 Highway for a report of stealing. Subject unable to be located by deputies.

July 12, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 32 Private Road in Osceola in regards to a structure fire. Investigation is ongoing.

July 13, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast TT in Osceola in regards to an abandoned four-wheeler. Report was taken and four-wheeler was towed.

July 13, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Jamie Batts at the Cass County Jail on St. Clair County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond set at $5,000 cash surety.

July 13, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Donald Devine at the St. Clair County Jail for a Hickory County warrant for Failure to Obey Judge. Bond set at $25,000 cash surety.

July 13, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 13 Highway in Osceola in regards to a domestic disturbance. Subject was having mental health issues and was transported by ambulance.

July 13, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 100 Road in Osceola in regards to found property. Deputies contacted Henry County deputies to attempt contact at subjects’ residence.

July 13, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 1051 Road in Osceola for a report of burglary. Items stolen were a four-wheeler and chainsaw. Items were recovered.

July 14, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 82 Highway in regards to trespassing. Reporting party stated a game camera had sent images to his phone. Report has been taken.

July 14, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 995 Private Road in regards to a domestic disturbance. Report was taken and investigation is ongoing.

July 14, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 700 Road in Weaubleau in regards to a domestic disturbance. Report taken and individuals agreed to separate for the evening.

July 15, 2023- St. Clair County deputies towed an abandoned vehicle on Northwest 1025 Road. Vehicle had been abandoned for over three days.

July 16, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to North Walnut Street in Appleton City for a dispute in child custody. Report was taken.

July 17, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 13 Highway in Osceola in regards to a structure fire. Structure was a shed that caught fire during storm. Report taken.

July 17, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 955 Private Road in Osceola for an unresponsive female. Subject was pronounced deceased.

July 17, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 700 Road in Collins in reference to endangering welfare of a child. Report was taken and forwarded to the Department of Family Services.
