Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Textcaster available!

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of March 26, 2024 through April 1, 2024 

March 26, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Northeast Highway 13, Lowry City, for a report of a careless and reckless driver. Reporting party stated a UPS Semi tractor trailer started to pull into the path of the school bus. Information was taken and investigation is ongoing.

March 27, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Goodrich Drive, Osceola, concerning a subject with an active warrant. Gary Black was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for DWI-Persistent, Driving While Revoked/Suspended, and Resisting/Interfering with Arrest, Detention or Stop. Bond is $10,000 cash surety.

March 28, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Northeast 1275 Private Road, Osceola, for a report of stealing. After investigation, items were not stolen, just moved. Deputies informed the reporting party that this is a civil matter.

March 28, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies arrested David Z Deaton at the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office on a Cass County warrant for Failure to Appear- DWI Drug.

March 28, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Northeast 176 Private Road, Osceola, concerning a domestic assault involving a juvenile. Report was taken, a juvenile referral sent to the juvenile office, and the incident was hotlined.

March 29, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies arrested Andrew Cole at the Cass County Jail on a St. Clair County warrant for Failure to Appear-Non Support Exceed 12 Months. Bond is $1,000 cash only.

March 29, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Truman Road, Osceola, for a domestic. Frederick Byrd was arrested and is being charged with Domestic Assault-4th Degree-1st or 2nd Offense.

April 1, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Highway TT, Osceola, in regards to stolen property. Items stolen include 10” Dewalt portable table saw, 12” compound miter box, ceiling sensor, computer, and computer stand. Investigation is ongoing.

April 1, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies arrested Lonnie Nall at the St. Clair County Courthouse on a St. Clair County warrant. Bond is $2,500 cash only.

April 1, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southeast 700 Road, Collins, for a domestic disturbance. Jesse Claxton was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault-4th Degree.
