Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of October 8, 2024 through October 14, 2024

October 9th – Stolen Property –  On October 9th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to a call for service on F Highway in Lowry City, in regards to stealing. A MoDot employee reported that one of their mobile CMS boards (electronic sign) had the padlock cut from the battery box, and all 8 batteries were missing, alongside their cables. Another CMS board nearby showed signs of damage to one of the padlocks as well. The eight batteries missing are blue “FULLRIVER” brand, and were valued at a total of $3,415.60. The Deputy took photographs, canvassed the area, and took a report.

October 12th – Felony Arrest (Dangerous Drugs and Burglary)    On October 12th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to a call for service on NE 364 Road in Osceola, in regards to a burglary. The reporting party informed the deputies that their front door frame had been broken, and their house had multiple items stolen from it. The items stolen included multiple firearms, checkbooks, clothing, jewelry, tools, and a crossbow. In total, $300 worth of damage was done, and the stolen property was valued at approximately $9,794.

During the area canvas, deputies were able to locate evidence that led them to the Wildflower Inn. After further investigation, 2 suspects were located at Casey’s General Store in Osceola, where they were both promptly arrested. A search of their motel room resulted in various stolen items being found, and drug paraphernalia that field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Madison Neece was arrested and charged for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,Tampering with Motor Vehicle – 2nd Degree, and Receiving Stolen Property with a bond set at $15,000 cash or surety. Camrynn McDonald was arrested and charged with Tampering with Motor Vehicle – 1st Degree, and Receiving Stolen Property with a bond set at $15,000 cash or surety. Charges have also been submitted to the St. Clair County Prosecuting Attorney for Burglary – 2nd Degree.

October 12th – Felony Arrest (Domestic Assault) –  On October 12th,  St. Clair County Deputies responded to a call for service outside of the city limits of Lowry City in regards to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the Deputies spoke with the reporting party, who stated Clarence Smith” struck her in the face, causing her to fall in between the bed and the wall. The deputies took photographs of the victim’s injuries, and placed Clarence under arrest for Domestic Assault – 3rd Degree. Clarence was transported to the St. Clair County Jail pending formal charges.

October 12th – Stolen Property –  On October 12th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to a call for service on NE Highway U in Osceola in regards to a theft. Upon making contact with the victim, it was reported that an acetylene torch, an antique white sewing machine, and a car battery were stolen from the property. A suspect was named/described, and the deputy took a report after speaking with neighboring residents in regards to the theft/described suspect.

October 13th – Warrant Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) –  On October 13th, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Rocky Willis at the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office for a warrant. The charge on the warrant was for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Rocky was left in the custody of the on-duty Jail staff and the bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.
