Arrests and Reports
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of December 17, 2024 through December 23, 2024
December 17th – Warrant Arrest (Failure to Appear) – On December 17th, a St. Clair County Deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle Natalie Maxwell was the driver of, for failing to display license plates properly. During the stop, St. Clair County Dispatch advised that Natalie had a Failure to Appear warrant out of Henry County for a Traffic Violation. Natalie was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety.
December 17th – Trespassing in Collins – On December 17th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to a call for service in reference to trespassing. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the property owner who said at approximately 8:00 pm, they saw a man wearing all black clothing on their property. The trespasser ran away for a short time and came back around 8:30. The man was described as wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and approximately 6 feet tall. A canvass of the area was performed and a report was taken. This investigation is still ongoing.
December 17th – Warrant Arrest (Failure to Appear) – On December 17th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to the St. Clair County Courthouse in reference to somebody having an active warrant. Upon arrival, the deputy arrested Shannon Cramer on two Pettis County Failure to Appear warrants. The first warrant had an original charge of Driving While Intoxicated, and the second warrant had an original charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Shannon was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set for $583 cash only.
December 17th – Structure Fire (Scott’s Iconium Store) – On December 17th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to Scott’s Iconium Store concerning a commercial structure fire. Upon arrival, the deputy met with Fire Departments from Iconium, Lowry City, Sac Osage, Deepwater and Hickory County, all attempting fire suppression measures. The building unfortunately was entirely consumed by the fire and declared a total loss. The Fire Marshall later arrived on scene and stated that he believed the fire to have originated in the utility room located on the North end of the building; No foul play was detected.
December 22nd – Felony Arrest (Domestic Assault) – On December 22nd, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to SW 101 Road in Osceola in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputy met with both involved parties, a married couple, who had been in a fight. During the investigation, it was discovered that Douglas Vanlue was the primary aggressor and was arrested for the Felony charge of Domestic Assault – 3rd Degree. Douglas was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released pending formal charges.
December 23rd – Warrant Arrest (Stealing) – On December 17th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to the Pilot Truck Stop in Collins in reference to a County Line Transfer. Upon arrival, Polk County Deputies transferred custody of Bobbi Jo Fryman for a Felony warrant out of St. Clair County for an original charge of Stealing – $750 or More. Bobbi was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.
December 23rd – Warrant Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On December 17th, St. Clair County Deputies arrested James Gladstone at the Henry County Jail on two St. Clair County warrants. The first warrant had a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. The second warrant had one Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and one Misdemeanor charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Prior Drug Offense. James was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the total bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of December 24, 2024 through December 30, 2024
December 25th- Felony Arrest (Assault) – On December 25th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to a call for service on West Dover Street in Appleton City, in reference to a check of well being. Upon arrival, the deputy talked with the reporting party who stated that Michael Mcewan Jr. was not acting like himself. During the investigation, Michael assaulted one of the deputies and was arrested for Assault – 3rd Degree – Special Victim, and Escape or Attempted Escape From Custody While Under Arrest For Felony. Michael was transported to the St. Clair County Jail pending formal charges.
December 26th- Felony Arrest (Domestic Assault) – On December 26th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to a call for service on Highway WW in Osceola in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputies spoke with the reporting party who stated that Michael Brennan had assaulted her and held her at home against her will. During the investigation, the deputies obtained enough evidence to arrest Michael for Domestic Assault – 3rd Degree, and Kidnapping – 3rd Degree. Michael was transported to the St. Clair County Jail, and after formal charges were applied, his bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.
December 26th- Warrant Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On December 26th, St. Clair County Deputies arrested John Brockmeyer at the Henry County Jail on a St. Clair County Warrant. The warrant had a charge for one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. John was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.
December 26th- Warrant Arrest (Probation Violation) – On December 26th, St. Clair County Deputies arrested Toby Gannaway on a St. Clair County Warrant for a Probation Violation. The original charges on the warrant are for one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid and one count of Possession of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid of 10 Grams or Less. Toby was already residing at the St. Clair County Jail on other charges, and the bond for this warrant was set at $10,000 cash only.
December 26th- Warrant Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On December 26th, St. Clair County Deputies arrested David Christian at the Taney County Jail on a St. Clair County Warrant. The charge on the warrant was for one count of Trafficking Drugs – 2nd Degree. David was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $25,000 or 10% authorized bond.
December 26th- Found Property in Osceola – On December 26th, St. Clair County Deputies arrested David Christian at the Taney County Jail on a St. Clair County Warrant. The charge on the warrant was for one count of Trafficking Drugs – 2nd Degree. David was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $25,000 or 10% authorized bond.
December 30th- Stealing in Osceola – On December 30th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to NE 362 Road in Osceola, in reference to stealing. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the property owner, who said that her mailbox was missing from the post across from her driveway. The deputy canvassed the area, and collected evidence/photographs. The estimated value of the mailbox was estimated to be between $37 and $50.
