Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of  January 14th, 2024 through January 20th, 2025.

January 17th – Warrant Arrest (Probation Violation) – On January 17th, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Krista Meyers at the Vernon County Jail on a St. Clair County Warrant. The warrant was for a Probation Violation with the original charge being Resisting/Interfering with Arrest for a Felony. Krista was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.

January 17th – Fraud in Rural Osceola  – On January 17th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to a call for service at the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office in reference to possible identity theft related to a scam. The reporting party reported that they had been contacted by Cashnet USA via telephone call and email, stating they had owed Cashnet $2,858.69, although the reporting party had never used the service. Multiple emails on the reporting party’s phone notated a password change notification and multiple approval notices from the account created under their name. Evidence was collected and multiple suspects were named. This investigation is ongoing.

January 19th – Warrant Arrest (Failure to Appear) – On January 19th, a St. Clair County Deputy performed a traffic stop on Southbound Highway 13 for expired registration. Upon making contact with the driver, Jake Scaramucci, it was reported by St. Clair County Dispatch that he had an active warrant out of Polk County. The warrant was for a Failure to Appear with an original charge of Failure to Drive on the Right Side of Roadway. Jake was arrested and transported to the St. Clair County Jail, with a bond set at $300 cash only.

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of  January 21st, 2024 through January 27th, 2025 .

January 21st – Warrant Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On January 21st, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to NE 175 Road in Osceola in reference to a warrant arrest attempt. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with, and arrested James Cook on a St. Clair County Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. James was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.

January 21st – Warrant Arrest (Failure to Appear) – On January 21st, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to NE 175 Road in Osceola in reference to a warrant arrest attempt. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Christina Graham and St. Clair County Dispatch reported that Christina had an active Clinton PD Warrant. Christina Graham was arrested for Failure to Appear with an original charge of Shoplifting. Christina was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $83.50 cash only.

January 22nd – Multiple Fires on E Highway – On January 22nd, St. Clair County Deputies responded to E Highway, South of A Highway, in reference to multiple fires. Upon arrival, the deputies observed approximately 8 patches of fire on both sides of the highway. A suspect’s vehicle was identified by multiple parties to be a maroon Chevy truck with a flatbed heading Northbound on E Highway. Evidence was collected by the deputies, and reports were taken. This investigation is ongoing.

January 22nd – Warrant Arrest (Probation Violation) – On January 22nd, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Jacob Meineker at the St. Joseph Department of Corrections on a St. Clair County Warrant for a Probation Violation. The original charge was for 3 counts of Passing a Bad Check. Jacob was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and held on no bond.

January 23rd – Warrant Arrest (Failure to Appear) – On January 22nd, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Jordan Wilson at the St. Clair County Courthouse on a Vernon County Warrant for a Failure to Appear. The original charge was for Failure to Register Motor Vehicle. Jordan was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $127 cash only.

January 25th – Search Warrant in Appleton – On January 25th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to NW Highway A to execute a Search Warrant. Upon arrival, the deputies entered the home, detained multiple individuals, and began their investigation. During their investigation, a quantity of drugs suspected to be methamphetamine was found, multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia, and multiple stolen vehicles. Multiple stolen vehicles were located on the property as well. Jeremy Bergen was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, two counts of Receiving Stolen Property, one count of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and two counts of Unlawful Use of Weapon – Subsection 11 – Possess Weapon and Felony Controlled Substance. Jeremy was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and held on a 24 hour hold.
