Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests and Reports
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of April 1st through April 7th, 2025.
April 2nd – Stealing in Rural El Dorado Springs – On April 2nd, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a citizen reporting stolen property. The reporting party stated that she lives in rural El Dorado Springs, and had noticed today that two chainsaws were missing from her property. One chainsaw was described as a Stihl Farm Boss MS 291, and the other chainsaw was reported to be a Tree Trimmer Model, MS 194 T. A suspect was named and the estimated value of both chainsaws was stated to be around $1,205.98. This investigation is ongoing.
April 3rd – Structure Fire in Lowry City – On April 3rd, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to NE 700 Road in rural Lowry City. Upon arrival, the deputy observed a structure with metal siding that was fully engulfed in flames, and multiple areas in the timber that were on fire. Iconium Fire Department and Lowry City Fire Department were already on scene attempting to extinguish the fire, and believed an electrical short was what caused the fire.
April 3rd – Warrant Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On April 3rd, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested John Daehler at the Jackson County Jail on a St. Clair County Warrant. The warrant contained a charge of Probation Revocation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. John was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $10,000 cash only.
April 3rd – Warrant Arrest (Forgery) – On April 3rd, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Christian Singleton at the Raytown City Jail on a St. Clair County Warrant. The warrant contained charges of three counts of Forgery, and two counts of Fraudulent Use of Credit/Debit Device. Christian was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $10,000 cash only.
April 3rd – Warrant Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On April 3rd, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Madison Ray at the Bourbon County, Kansas Jail on a St. Clair County Warrant. The warrant contained charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Christian was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $10,000 cash only.
April 4th – Warrant Arrest (Failure to Appear – Henry County) – On April 4th, a St. Clair County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on 13 Highway for a lane violation. After making contact with the driver, St. Clair County Communications advised the driver had an active warrant out of Henry County. Jacorian Epps was arrested on a Henry County Warrant for a charge of Failure to Appear – Speeding. Jacorian was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $500 cash or surety.
April 4th – Warrant Arrest (Multiple Agencies – Henry County; Hickory County) – On April 4th, a St. Clair County Deputy made contact with a woman walking down the road in Collins, with a suitcase. During the investigation, St. Clair County Communications advised the woman had active warrants out of both Henry County and Hickory County. Brandi Walters was arrested for a Henry County Warrant for Stolen Vehicle, with a bond set at $10,000 cash only. She was also arrested on a Hickory County Warrant with original charges of Abuse or Neglect of a Child – No Sexual Contact, Domestic Assault – 3rd Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child – 2nd Degree, and the bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety. Brandi was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be held on both warrants.
April 4th – Stealing in Osceola – On April 4th, a St. Clair County Deputy took a report in reference to property being stolen from SE Highway WW. The deputy was advised by the property owner that earlier today, a fish finder had been stolen from his boat. The fish finder was described as a Lowrance HDS12 and was valued at $2,500 – $3,000. This investigation is ongoing.
April 6th – Property Damage in Osceola – On April 6th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to SE 1147 Road in rural Osceola in reference to property damage. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the property owner who advised that an unknown individual had cut bushes down around his property, and that he believed it was with intent to steal farm equipment. The farm equipment had been moved during this incident, and approximately 25 rose bushes had been cut down. The deputy collected evidence and spoke with neighbors of the property. The estimated cost of the damaged property is $549.75. This investigation is ongoing.
