Arrests and Reports
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of September 23rd through September 29th, 2025.
September 23rd – Warrant Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On September 23rd, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to C Street in Osceola in reference to a warrant arrest attempt. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the female suspect and arrested Karen Kennedy on a St. Clair County Warrant charging her with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Driving While Revoked/Suspended -2nd or 3rd Offense. Karen was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety.
September 24th – Failure to Yield in Lowry City – On September 24th, St. Clair County Deputies attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle on NE 101 Road in Lowry City for traffic violations. The vehicle failed to pull over and traveled at high rates of speed before being stopped in Deepwater. David Leonard was arrested on Henry County Warrants and charges were filed with the St. Clair County Prosecutor for Aggravated Fleeing a Stop or Detention, Operated a Motor Vehicle in a Careless and Imprudent Manner, Failed to Display Plates on Motor Vehicle/Trailer, and Driving While Revoked/Suspended – 2nd or 3rd Offense.
September 24th – Failure to Yield in Osceola – On September 24th, a St. Clair County Deputy attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle on Chestnut Street in Osceola for traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle failed to pull over and traveled at high rates of speed before being stopped at the Casey’s Gas Station in Osceola. Michael Gammon was arrested for Failure to Yield to Emergency Vehicle Sounding Audible Siren Signal/Display Lighted Visible Red/Blue Light. Michael was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released pending formal charges.
September 26th – Warrant Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On September 26th, St. Clair County Deputies arrested Sonny Haywood at the St. Joseph Department of Corrections on a St. Clair County Warrant. The warrant charged Sonny with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Sonny was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $15,000 cash only.

Arrests and Reports
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of September 30th through October 6th, 2025.
October 3rd – Felony Arrest (Weapons Offense) – On October 3rd, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to SE 1151 Road in Collins, in reference to a check well being. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the reporting party who stated that a male suspect had pointed a firearm at him. Jeffrey Phillips was arrested for Unlawful Use of Weapon – Subsection 4 – Exhibiting, and Armed Criminal Action. Jeffrey was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be held pending formal charges.
October 4th – Misdemeanor Arrest (Driving While Intoxicated) – On October 4th, a St. Clair County Deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violations, on SE 82 Highway. Upon making contact with the driver, it was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Tristin Reed was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Tristin was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released pending formal charges.
October 6th – Warrant Arrest (Failure to Appear) – On October 6th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to the Pilot Travel Center in Collins, in reference to an attempted theft. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the reporting party who stated that a male subject was outside with multiple items from the store that were not paid for. During the investigation, it was determined that the male subject had an extraditable warrant out of Polk County. John Julian was arrested on a Polk County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear. John was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $100 cash only.
