Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of November 25th through Dec. 1, 2025.

November 27th – Misdemeanor Arrest (Domestic Assault) – On November 27th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to Southwest 600 Road in El Dorado Springs in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the reporting party who said that a male suspect had been intoxicated and assaulted her. During the investigation, it was determined the male suspect was the primary aggressor and Remo Piette Reed was arrested for Domestic Assault – 2nd Degree. Remo was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released after a 12 Hour Detox, pending formal charges.

November 28th – Burglary at Trade Fair Mall – On November 28th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to the Trade Fair Mall on Highway 13 in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the reporting party who said that upon opening the store that morning, The back of the building had damage to the wall and several display cases were broken with items stolen. The deputy investigated the area, took pictures of the damages, and filed a report. This investigation is ongoing.

November 28th – Burglary in Deepwater  – On November 28th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to NE 401 Road in Deepwater in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the property owner who stated that sometime during the previous night, his house had been broken into and a Donald Duck statue was stolen from his driveway. The deputy took pictures of the damages to the door, collected information from the property owner, and a suspect was named. This investigation is ongoing.

November 28th – Warrant Arrest (Protection Order Violation)  – On November 28th,  St. Clair County Deputies responded to the Wildflower Inn on 13 Highway in reference to a warrant arrest attempt. Upon arrival, the deputies met with the male suspect, and took him into custody. Austin Horn was arrested on a St. Clair County Warrant charging him with Violation of a Protection Order For Adult. Austin was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $300.00 cash only.

November 29th – Misdemeanor Arrest (Driving While Intoxicated)  – On November 29th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to Northbound Highway 13 in reference to careless and imprudent driving. Upon arrival, the deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple traffic violations. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver was under the influence. Nathan Koop was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Failed to Drive on the Right Side of the Roadway When Roadway Was of Sufficient Width. Nathan was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released pending formal charges.

November 29th – Misdemeanor Arrest (Domestic Assault)  – On November 29th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to East 2nd Street in Appleton City in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the reporting party who said that a female suspect had been intoxicated and assaulted him. During the investigation, a primary aggressor was determined, and Angel Bollig was arrested for Domestic Assault – 4th Degree – 1st or 2nd Offense. Angel was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released after a 12 Hour Detox, pending formal charges.

December 1st – Warrant Arrest (Traffic Offense)  – On December 1st, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to the St. Clair County Courthouse in reference to a subject with an outstanding warrant. Bryan Crawford was arrested on an El Dorado Springs Police Department Warrant charging him with Traffic Offense – Improper Turn Signal. Bryan was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $92.00 cash only.

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of December 2nd through December 8th, 2025.

December 2nd – Misdemeanor Arrest (Stealing) – On December 2nd, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to Casey’s General Store in reference to stealing. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the reporting party who stated that an employee had stolen money from the cash register. The total amount of money stolen was estimated at $300.00. During an investigation, the suspect was located, and Kerri Wright was arrested for Stealing. Kerri was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released pending formal charges.

December 4th – Warrant Arrest (Multiple) – On December 4th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southeast WW Highway in reference to a subject with active warrants. Upon arrival, the deputies located the female suspect, and after a foot pursuit, placed her under arrest. Kassie Henderson was arrested on two St. Clair County Warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance, one Probation Violation Warrant with an original charge of Shoplifting, and a new charge of Resisting/Interfering with Arrest For a Felony. Kassie was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be held on the aforementioned charges.

Later that day, a warrant came down from the St. Clair County Courthouse charging Kassie formally with Resisting Arrest with a bond of $15,000 cash or surety.

December 4th – Property Damage in Osceola – On December 4th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to WW Highway in Osceola, in reference to property damage. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the property owner who said that sometime during the previous night, an unknown vehicle had struck her mailbox. The deputy took photographs, canvassed the area, and filed a report. This investigation is ongoing.

December 5th – Warrant Arrest (Multiple) – On December 5th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to Casey’s General Store in Osceola.in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the male suspect, and during the investigation, it was determined that he was intoxicated. Jason Dixon was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, and during the arrest, St. Clair County Communications reported that Jason had five Failure to Appear warrants out of Clay County. Jason was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be held on the original charge and the Clay County warrants, with a total bond of $50,000 cash or surety.

December 6th – Misdemeanor Arrest (Violation of Protection Order) – On December 6th, a St. Clair County Deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver, it was determined that he had a passenger that had a protection order against him. Braxton Copeland was arrested for Violation of a Protection Order for Adult – 1st Offense. Braxton was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released pending formal charges.

December 8th – Warrant Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On December 8th, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Katie Haas at the Vandalia Department of Corrections on a St. Clair County Warrant. The warrant was for two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and one count of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Katie was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.
