Arrests and Reports
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of December 9th through December 15th, 2025.
December 9th – Stealing on TT Highway – On December 9th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to SE TT Highway in reference to stealing. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the property owner who stated that the previous night, a horse had been stolen from their property. The horse was described to be 8 months old, 120 pounds, and a pink blanket with a yellow/blue halter was also taken. The total estimated loss was given at $595.00. The deputy canvassed the area, spoke with the neighbors, and filed a report. This investigation is ongoing.
December 12th – Warrant Arrest (Protection Order Violation) – On December 12th, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Henry Caudill at the Henry County Jail on a St. Clair County Warrant. The warrant included a charge of Violation of a Protection Order of an Adult. Henry was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $5,000 cash only.
December 12th – Felony Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On December 12th, a St. Clair County Deputy performed a traffic stop on 82 Highway for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted, and a quantity of a crystal substance alongside paraphernalia was located. Wendy Surber was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Prior Drug Offense. Wendy was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booekd and released pending formal charges.
December 15th – Misdemeanor Arrest (Driving While Intoxicated) – On December 15th, a St. Clair County Deputy attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle due to a report of the driver being intoxicated. The driver stopped the vehicle, and walked into a residence, after which the deputy made contact. After an investigation, Jacklynn Steele was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Jacklynn was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released pending formal charges.

Arrests and Reports
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of December 16th through December 22nd, 2025.
December 16th – Warrant Arrest (Probation Violation) – On December 16th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to SE 650 Road in Collins, in reference to a warrant arrest attempt. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the suspect, and Dakota Bradt was arrested for a Greene County Warrant charging him with Probation Violation. Dakota was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be held on the aforementioned warrant, and no bond was set.
December 16th – Stealing in Osceola (Solved) – On December 16th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to a call for service in reference to stealing in Osceola. The reporting party stated that mail was delivered to a wrong address and a female suspect was refusing to return it. The estimated value of the packages/mail being withheld was given at $100. The deputy made contact with the suspect, and the mail was returned to the rightful owner.
December 22nd – Warrant Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On December 22nd, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Whitney Woods at the Greene County Jail on a St. Clair County Warrant. The warrant charged Whitney with Failure to Appear – Possession of a Controlled Substance. Whitney was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $10,000 cash only.
December 22nd – Stealing Resulting In Arrest – On December 22nd, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to NE 600 Road in Osceola in reference to stealing. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the property owner who said that approximately 15 minutes earlier to the call, a male suspect had stolen two gas cans and a bottle of bar oil. During the investigation, the suspect was identified and located. Terry Venholt was arrested for Stealing and Trespassing – 2nd Degree. Terry was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released pending formal charges.
On December 16th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to a local medical clinic in reference to a child abuse. It was determined that the sores were from MRSA, and had gone untreated for over a year.
The Detective applied for a warrant, and on January 13, 2026, a warrant came down from the St. Clair County Courthouse charging Keisha Morgan and William Robinson with Endangering the Welfare of a Child – 1st Degree – Physical Injury – No Sexual Contact and Abuse or Neglect of a Child Under Section 568.060.5(1) – No Sexual Contact. William was also charged with Tampering with Evidence.
On January 14th, both Keisha and William were arrested, transported to the St. Clair County Jail, and are currently being held on bonds of $25,000 cash only each.
