ST. CLAIR COUNTY SHERIFF

Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made 12 arrests, took a stolen vehicle report, and a dog bite report during the week of Aug. 13-20, 2018.

Warrant Arrests

Malinda McGlory- On Aug. 20, Malinda McGlory, 36, Kansas City, KS, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with three counts of a class D felony possession of a controlled substance, a class D unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and a class D misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

The charges come after a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched NW 650 Road in Lowry City in regards to a suspicious vehicle on April 17, 2017.

Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the driver and passenger of the vehicle. The deputy got consent to search the vehicle from the driver. During the search, the deputy located some marijuana, prescription pills, and a glass pipe with a crystal like residue inside the purse of McGlory. There were also needles located in the car.

The glass pipe field tested positive for methamphetamine.

     

Keri Wright- On Aug. 20, Keri Wright, 25, Warsaw, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a probation violation on an original class C felony for forgery. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

The original charge stems from an Osceola Police Department investigation on Sept. 19, 2016.

     

Patty Davidson- On Aug. 19, Patty Davidson, 40, Lowry City, was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D felony perjury in a procedure involving a felony charge. Total bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety.

The possession charge comes after St. Clair County deputies assisted the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force with a consensual search of Davidson’s residence on March 6, 2018. During the search, a tin containing residue of a white crystal like substance was located. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.

The perjury charge comes after Davidson’s courtroom testimony on Aug. 15, 2018, did not match the written statement she gave to a St. Clair County deputy when she was involved in a motor vehicle accident on July 15, 2018.

     

James McEntire- On Aug. 19, James McEntire, 54, Lee’s Summit, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class C misdemeanor sexual misconduct in the second degree. McEntire was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after deputies were contacted by Boy Scout Leader Steve Ham in regards to the actions of Boy Scout Leader McEntire towards Boy Scout Leader Jennifer Boaz.

Boaz stated McEntire made sexual advances towards her, trying to grope and kiss her. Boaz denied all advances.

     

Michael Jackson- On Aug. 18, Michael Jackson, 22, Goodman, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a McDonald County warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of a class A misdemeanor pursue/take/kill/possess or dispose of wildlife illegally. Bond is set at $266 cash only.

The original charge comes from the Missouri Department of Conservation on May 14, 2017.

     

Ronnie Parmalee- On Aug. 18, Ronnie Parmalee, 53, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear in court on an original infraction charge of no seat belt. Bond is set at $10 cash only.

The original charge comes from a traffic stop by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Feb. 3, 2018.

     

Jason Sole- On Aug 18, Jason Sole, 47, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Scott County warrant charging him with a class C felony stealing-$750 or more. Bond is set at $7,500 cash or surety.

The original charge comes from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 1, 2015.

     

Danielle Cox- On Aug. 17, Danielle Cox, 34, El Dorado Springs, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class B misdemeanor operating a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner. Cox was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a concerned citizen called in to report a vehicle on Highway 13 being driven in a reckless manner.

     

Jeremiah Brandell- On Aug. 17, Jeremiah Brandell, 22, Stockton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class A misdemeanor domestic assault in the fourth degree. Brandell was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after an investigation into a domestic assault which occurred on Aug. 16, 2018, when Brandell got into a physical altercation with his roommate.

On Aug. 16, Richie Dysinger, called and wanted to report an assault that had occurred. A St. Clair County deputy arrived at the residence on Lake Street in Osceola. Dysinger stated Brandell struck him several times in the face with a closed fist and kicked him in the side when he was on the ground.

Brandell had already left the scene when the deputy arrived.

Dysinger filled out a request for prosecution.

     

Curtis Callahan- On Aug. 16, Curtis Callahan, 31, Deepwater, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Henry County warrant charging him with a class E felony non support. Bond is set at $500 cash only.

The original charges come from Henry County Prosecuting Attorney on Jan. 1, 2017.

     

Jerod Eley- On Aug. 16, Jerod Eley, 35, Bolivar, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class A felony trafficking drugs or attempt, class D felony possession of a controlled substance, class D unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and a class D misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less. Total bond is set at $25,000 cash only.

The arrest comes after a traffic stop by a St. Clair County deputy on the vehicle Eley was driving. A K9 unit was called to the scene to perform an exterior sniff test of the vehicle. The K9 did alert to the odor of narcotics. During a search of the vehicle a plastic bag with a large amount, (approximately 91 grams), of a white crystal like substance was found. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.

After removing Eley from the patrol vehicle at the jail, the deputy found a plastic package with marijuana wax in it, that was shoved down into the crease of the seat where Eley was just removed from.

     

Daniel Ledbetter- On Aug. 15, Daniel Ledbetter, 59, Republic, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Stone County warrant for failure to appear in court on a class A misdemeanor non support and a Christian County warrant for failure to appear in court on a class E felony non support. Total bond is set at $1,500 cash only.

The arrest comes after a traffic stop on a vehicle Ledbetter was driving by a St. Clair County deputy.

Stolen Truck from Lowry City

On Aug. 20, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on NE 101 Road in reference to a stolen vehicle.

Upon arrival the deputy spoke with Harold Catt. Catt stated his white 2009 Ford F350 flatbed had been stolen. He also advised that there is a tool box on each side of the flatbed with signs that say Catt Farm. He stated when he arrived home last night around 7 p.m. his truck was in his driveway. He noticed it missing at 10 a.m. on the morning of the 20th.

A search of the immediate area produced negative results.

Dog Bite in Roscoe

On Aug. 16, Lexie Scott, the Roscoe School Superintendent, called a St. Clair County deputy to report a dog bite on a juvenile student.

Scott stated that a student came in from recess and informed her that a black and white dog had bitten another student on the leg.

The dog was described as a black and white pit bull mix. The dog had been reportedly growling at the children and eventually bit a juvenile on the upper leg. There were evident red marks, but the skin was not broken. The mother of the juvenile was going to take her child to the doctor as a precaution.

     It was reported that the dog follows the school bus to school on a regular basis.

     The deputy made contact with the reported owner of the dog, Bud Eaton. Eaton was asked if the dog had been vaccinated. Eaton stated it was not, but would do so immediately. It was explained to Eaton that he is responsible for his dog and its actions.

     The deputy explained that the dog needed to be quarantined the dog for 10 days and to check it daily for rabies. The deputy also advised that he would be stopping by to insure the dog was chained or caged and would follow up in 10 days to check on the condition of the dog.

     On Aug. 17, the deputy stopped by Eaton’s residence and found the dog to be running loose. Eaton produced receipts showing that he had taken the dog to get vaccinated. The deputy explained to Eaton that the dog must be kept restrained until Aug. 26.
