ST. CLAIR COUNTY SHERIFF

Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made nine arrests and took a stealing report during the week of Jan. 14-21, 2019.

Warrant Arrests

Seneca Stenberg- On Jan. 19, Seneca Stenberg, 34, Stockton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Stenberg was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Stenberg was driving for an equipment violation. After making contact with Stenberg, the deputy asked for and was given consent to search the vehicle. During the search, a glass pipe was located in a backpack in the rear seat of the vehicle.

Before entering the jail, the deputy asked if Stenberg had anything on her person, explaining there would be extra felony charges if she were to bring anything into the jail. Stenberg stated she had a pipe in her bra. Stenberg was allowed to recover the item from her person. Stenberg handed the deputy an eyeglass case that contained a glass pipe and a straw. Then Stenberg handed the deputy a plastic baggie containing a white crystal like substance. The substance did field test positive for methamphetamine.

Shane Miller- On Jan. 19, Shane Miller, 31, Stockton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Miller was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest come after the vehicle that Miller was a passenger in was pull over for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle gave consent to the deputy to search the vehicle. During the search, a glass pipe was located in a backpack in the rear seat. Miller admitted to the pipe to being his.

Michael Salisbury- On Jan. 18, Michael Salisbury, 56, Lowry City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after a St. Clair County deputy pulled over the vehicle Salisbury was driving for speeding and a vehicle violation on Dec. 28, 2017. After being questioned, Salisbury turned over the pipe he had in his coat pocket. A search of the vehicle revealed a vile with a crystal like substance. The pipe and vile did field test positive for methamphetamine.

Clayton Barker- On Jan. 15, Clayton Barker, 55, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on four warrants from the Humansville Police Department. Barker is charged with failing to appear in court on ordinance violations of driving while suspended, failing to produce insurance, and two counts of failure to register a motor vehicle. Total bond is set at $350 cash only.

Dylan Hochard- On Jan. 15, Dylan Hochard, 18, Kansas City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Jackson County warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a class D misdemeanor driving while revoked/suspended and a class D misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less. Bond is set at $650 cash only.The original charges stem from a traffic stop by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on May 5, 2018.

Christopher Linder- On Jan. 14, Christopher Linder, 41, Kansas City, Kansas, was arrested on an outstanding St. Clair County warrant for bond revocation on a class C felony tampering with a motor vehicle, class C burglary in the second degree, and a class D felony possession of burglary tools. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

The charges stem from an incident in the early morning hours on Sept. 9, 2016, when a deputy was investigating a burglary on SW 1371 Road. During the investigation two vehicles were observed heading in the direction of the property that was burglarized. Contact was made with one of the vehicles. Linder was the passenger in the vehicle.

Further investigation revealed a backpack containing a small ATV battery, a black camouflaged mask, two pairs of gloves, two screwdrivers, and two flashlights in his possession. A pry bar was also located in the trunk of the vehicle. Linder had a single bullet in his pocket which matched the rounds stolen from the residence.

Miriam Wareham- On Jan. 14, Miriam Wareham, 57, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after St. Clair County deputies assisted the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force with an investigation in Appleton City. While conducting the investigation, Wareham gave consent to search her residence. As a part of her probation, a search of her person was conducted. During the search, a plastic bag containing a crystal like substance was recovered. The substance did field test positive for methamphetamine. 

Audbrianna Kirk- On Jan. 14, Audbrianna Kirk, 29, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. Kirk also has a Jackson County warrant charging her with a class B felony accessory to burglary in the first degree and a class E felony assault in the third degree. Bond for the Jackson County warrant is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after St. Clair County deputies assisted the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force with an investigation in Appleton City. After making contact and talking with the property owner, consent was given to search the residence. During the search, a plastic baggie containing a white crystal like substance was located in a carrying bag. The substance did test positive for methamphetamine. Kirk admitted the methamphetamine was hers.

Charles Phillips- On Jan 13, Charles Phillips, 60, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after St. Clair County deputies assisted the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force with an investigation in Appleton City. While speaking with Phillips, he did give consent to search the residence. During the search, a pill bottle with Phillips’ name on it was located with a white crystal like substance inside of it. The substance did field test positive for methamphetamine.

Stealing in Osceola

On Jan. 17, a St. Clair County deputy received a phone call in regards stolen property from a residence on NE 601 Road in Osceola. Upon arrival to the residence, the deputy spoke with Timothy Kreisler. Kreisler stated that he had some items stolen from his property sometime between Nov. 1st and Nov. 3rd, 2018. Kreisler stated that and orange and black Mighty Handler log splitter, a pressure washer with a Honda motor, and a Cabela’s brand meat grinder were taken.

Estimated loss value is $900. A suspect has been named.

Warrant Arrests

Robert Clutter- On Jan. 27, Robert Clutter, 31, Flemington, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Polk County warrant charging Clutter with a class E felony domestic assault in the third degree and a class B misdemeanor property damage in the second degree. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

The original charges stem from an investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in July 2018.

Erika Bootier- On Jan. 25, Erika Bootier, 26, Springfield, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a probation violation on four original counts of a class C felony forgery. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only.

The charges stem from incidents in December 2014 when Bootier cashed four checks that were stolen from an individual.

Porsche Keith- On Jan. 25, Porsche Keith, 26, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an original class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The original charge comes from an Osceola Police Department investigation in November 2017.

Dillon Hatfield- On Jan. 23, Dillon Hatfield, 23, Weaubleau, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Polk County warrant charging Hatfield with failure to appear in court. Bond is set at $200 cash only.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle Hatfield was driving. A record check revealed Hatfield had an active warrant out of Polk County.

Michael Miller- On Jan. 23, Michael Miller, 42, Collins, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Greene County warrant for failure to appear in court and a Cedar County warrant for failure to appear in court. Total bond is set at $2,600 cash only.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Miller was driving. A record check revealed the active warrants out of Greene and Cedar County.

Timmie Green- On Jan. 23, Timmie Green, 32, Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failure to pay fines on original charges of a class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and a class B misdemeanor trespass in the first degree. Bond is set at $480 cash only.

The charges come after a homeowner called to complain about a vehicle driving through her yard and getting stuck in the mud on Feb. 23, 2018. A St. Clair County deputy arrived on scene and made contact with the driver and passenger of the vehicle. Green was identified as the driver, and appeared to be under the influence.

Naomi Green- On Jan. 22, Naomi Green, 33, Summersville, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a probation violation on original charges of a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class B misdemeanor trespass in the first degree. Bond is set at $400 cash only.

Green was the passenger in the vehicle that was driven by Timmie Green on Feb. 23, 2018. She admitted to the deputy that she had a baggie of methamphetamines stuffed into the crotch of her pants. The baggie was recovered at the St. Clair County Jail during a search of her person.

Dennis Spiva- On Jan. 22, Dennis Spiva, 40, Nevada, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class C felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D felony resisting/interfering with an arrest for a felony. Bond is set at $25,000 cash only.

The charges stem from an investigation on July 21, 2016, near Highway 82 and SW 651 Road between Roscoe and Tiffin. After receiving a call regarding a suspicious vehicle in the area, a St. Clair County deputy met with Spiva who stated he parked his vehicle while he and a friend were walking the creek looking for arrowheads. During the investigation a glass pipe and a plastic container with approximately 21 grams of white crystal substance was located in Spiva’s possession. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine. The moment when these items were discovered, Spiva fled on foot into creeks and timber. An extensive search of the area was conducted utilizing several officers and a Missouri State Highway Patrol helicopter. Spiva was not located.

Property Damage in Roscoe

On Jan. 27, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on SW Ramsey Street in Roscoe in regards to property damage.

Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Robbie and Kailee Jones. Robbie stated on Jan. 24, his wife called him and told him about a red dodge pickup that had stopped at their house. Kailee stated she heard the truck door close and the truck drove away.

Robbie stated when he got home he noticed the temperature in the house had dropped. He stated they called a repairman out to fix the problem. The repairman found the wires to the thermostat were cut just outside of the house. Robbie stated it cost $75 to repair.

A suspect has been named.

Property damage in Rockville

On Jan. 20, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on SW 150 Road in reference to property damage.

Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the property owner, Jeff Utz. Utz stated that someone driving a late model, dark in color Dodge pickup drove into his yard causing property damage. Utz stated when he opened his front door and stepped outside he could hear someone yelling, “Hurry up! Go! Go! Go!”.

Estimated loss was not known at time of report. Pictures and evidence were collected from the scene.
