ST. CLAIR COUNTY SHERIFF

Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made six arrests and took a stolen property report during the week of Feb. 11-18, 2019.

Warrant Arrests

Robert Arduser- On Feb. 18, Robert Arduser, 42, Walker, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree and a class D felony receiving stolen property. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The original charges come from an Osceola Police Department investigation in May 2018.

Richard Chambers- On Feb. 17, Richard Chambers, 60, Mountain Home, AR, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Chambers was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Chambers was driving for a traffic violation. While talking with Chambers, he consented to a search of the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle a glass pipe with a crystal like residue was located along with a plastic container. The glass pipe did field test positive for methamphetamine.

Wendy Gruber- On Feb. 15, Wendy Gruber, 38, El Dorado Springs, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Cedar County warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an original ordinance charge of utility tampering. Bond is set at $677 cash or surety.

The original charge comes from the El Dorado Police Department.

Clinton Oehring- On Feb. 14, Clinton Oehring, 27, Montrose, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class E felony non-support, total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under order of support. Bond is set at $1,500 cash only.

Steven Minor- On Feb. 12, Steven Minor, 24, Humansville, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class C felony delivery of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid and a class E felony resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing-creating a substancial risk of serious injury/death to any person. Bond is set at $50,000 cash only.

The warrant comes after a St. Clair County deputy tried to perform a traffic stop on the vehicle Minor was driving for being careless and imprudent. Minor tried to flee from the deputy. Minor did finally stop for the deputy after his vehicle gave out on him. The deputy made contact with Minor and received consent to search the vehicle. During the search, a box was located with a glass pipe sticking out of it. Also located was a digital scale, marijuana, small zip lock bags, two plastic bags of a crystal like substance, and a syringe. The crystal like substance did field test positive for methamphetamine.

Keva Riedel- On Feb. 12, Keva Riedel, 38, Tonganoxie, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $7,500 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Reidel was driving for an equipment violation. After making contact with the driver, the deputy requested a K9 unit to the scene. The K9 performed an exterior sniff test of the vehicle. The K9 did alert to the presence of narcotics. Reidel then stated she had a marijuana pipe in the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle the marijuana pipe was located along with a different glass pipe, two plastic baggies with a white crystal like residue, torch lighter, and a plastic straw. The glass pipe did field test positive for methamphetamine.

Stolen Horse Out of Osceola

On Feb. 17, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on NE Highway 13 in reference to a stolen horse. The deputy made contact with Rick Weaver. Weaver stated that he last seen the horse on Feb. 15 and noticed it missing on Feb. 16. Weaver advised he had checked the perimeter of the fence and could not see where the horse would have gotten out. Weaver believed someone had stolen the horse.

A request for prosecution was filled out.
