Dec 16 – Deputy took report on SW Hwy W, in reference to a stolen vehicle and burglary.

Trent Bland reported his silver 1990 Ford Ranger missing from his driveway when he arrived home. Inside his residence he found his gun safe moved from his bedroom into the kitchen where its door had been pried open and all of his guns and approximately 1,000 rounds of ammunition were stolen. He noted nothing else seemed to be missing from the residence.

Firearms stolen include a DPMS AR-15, EO-Tech holographic rifle sight, Smith and Wesson M&P 22, Smith and Wesson M&P 9MM, Kimber 1911 .45 caliber, Smith and Wesson M&P shield 9MM, Remington 870 shotgun, Remington Nylon 66, Winchester single shot, and Rossi 22/20 gauge. The total value of the vehicle and firearms estimated at $6,225.

Dec 20 – Daniel Glen Moore, 40, Lowry City, arrested in Osceola on three no bond probation violation warrants from Wright County. Original charges include class A felony producing marijuana from July 2012, class D felony nonsupport from December 2011, class C felony possession of a controlled substance from August 2010.

Deputy took report from Kody Lee, Osceola, in reference to fraud. Lee stated he was notified of someone opening a credit card in his name. He stated the credit card appeared to have been opened through Amazon.com and $1,341.66 was charged on it. Suspect was named.

Dec 21 – Velda Motley, 62, Lowry City, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging her with class C felony receiving stolen property. Bond set at $15,000 cash or surety.

Warrant issued Dec. 21 and stems from investigation Oct. 26 when deputy contacted by Henry County deputy in reference to a possible location of stolen vehicle in our county. Vehicle reported stolen from residence in Henry County. Deputy responded to  residence in Twin Oaks Harbor and located the stolen vehicle, a black 2003 Dodge Ram. Owner of residence advised Motley and Jason Palmer dropped off the vehicle the previous day during the early morning hours.

Deputy took theft report from Darrell Foster. He reported his 1990 Chevrolet 1500 was parked at residence on North Walnut Street, Appleton City, and someone got into his truck and took several items.  Items missing include small Stanley tool bag, 12 wrenches, claw hammer, small crescent wrench, yellow utility knife, 12 foot Stanley tape measure, 3/8 drive socket set in black case and both license plates from the vehicle. Total value of  items estimated at $96.
