Aug 6 – Doreen Cooper, 59, Kansas City, arrested in St. Clair County on Belton municipal warrant for failing to appear in court on city ordinance violation. Bond set at $150 cash only.
Aug 7 – Deputy took report of fraud on South Beech Street, Appleton City. Anthony Sielman said he purchased a 2001 Peterbilt 379 truck from an individual on the internet for $11,000. Sielman noted he paid for the truck using a bank wire and has not received the vehicle. Selling party stated they did not receive the money. Report forwarded to Appleton City Police Department for further investigation.
Deputy took report of property damage on North Maple Street, Appleton City. Kinleigh Preston reported broken driver’s side window on her husband’s pickup truck. Report forwarded to Appleton City Police Department for further investigation.
Aug. 8 – Gregory Duffy, 40, Osceola, arrested in St. Clair County on Henry County warrant charging him with class C felony possession of controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and two counts of misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $10,000 cash or surety. Warrant issued July 15 and stems from incident March 2.
Jimmy Clark, 48, Independence, arrested on St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on original class C felony charge of theft. Warrantissued in November 2015 and bond set at $8,999.50.
Original charge stems from St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation October 2011 when deputies took report from Dr. John Ure in reference to burglary at his residence on NE 1174 Pvt Rd located in Ninnescah Park. Ure reported safe was stolen during incident. Safe later recovered with assistance from Missouri State Highway Patrol Dive Team.
February 2012 Clark pled guilty to charge and imposition of sentencing was suspended and he was placed on five years supervised probation. He was ordered to pay a maximum of $12,875 in restitution.
Aug. 9 – Charles Gillian, 35, Collins, -arrested in Henry County on -St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond set at $15,000 cash or surety.
Charge stems from St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation Aug. 3 at Pilot Truck Stop, Collins. During investigation a black key box with four plastic bags containing a crystal like substance located in vehicle. Substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.
St. Clair County warrant issued for Sheridi Wolfe, 29, Reeds Spring, charging her with class B felony distribution, delivery, manufacture or production of a controlled substance. Bond set at $15,000 cash or surety. Charge stems from Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation December 2015.
Aug 10 – Joshua Bohannon, 32, Osceola, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony driving while revoked. Bond set at $5,000 cash or surety. Warrant issued Aug. 5 and charge stems from St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation June 11 when traffic stop conducted on vehicle he was driving. Investigation revealed Bohannon had three prior offenses for driving while revoked or suspended.
Kara Scott, 24, Osceola, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging her with class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $2,500 cash or surety. Charge stems from Osceola Police Department investigation June 7.
Jeffrey Bagsby, 36, Lee’s Summit, was arrested at St. Clair County Jail on Lee’s Summit Police Department warrant for failing to appear in court on class C misdemeanor speeding six to 10 miles per hour over the limit. Bond set at $100 cash or surety.
Aug. 11- Charles Green, 38, El Dorado Springs, arrested on St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of pursuing/ taking/ killing/ possessing or disposing of wildlife illegally. Warrant issued April 2015. Bond set at $216 cash only.
Aug 12 – Melissa Hodge, 48, Deepwater, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging her with class C felony possession of controlled substance, class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and class A misdemeanor of possession of marijuana. Bond set at $15,000 cash or surety.
Charge stems from sheriff’s office investigation the same day when a deputy was on patrol and noticed an unoccupied vehicle on the side of NE Hwy C. Check of registration discovered it did not check to the vehicle. During investigation a bag containing a white crystal substance and glass pipe were located in vehicle. Both items field tested positive for methamphetamine. Small amount of marijuana was located during the investigation.
Hai Le, 32, Bolivar, arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance and a class A misdemeanor charge of theft. Bond set at $10,000 cash or surety.
Charges stem from St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation Aug. 7 when deputies took report from Dr. John Ure in reference to a prescription pad stolen from his office in April. Ure reported false prescriptions were written using the pad.
Aug 13 – Deputy took report in Twin Oaks Harbor in reference to theft. Danny Lynch reported a Black Polaris Scrambler 500 ATV stolen. He noted a chain securing the ATV was cut. Value was estimated at $1,500.
Aug. 16 – Warrant issued for Austin Turner, 21, Springfield, charging him with class D felony resisting arrest by fleeing and misdemeanor charge of driving while revoked or suspended. Bond set at $5,000 cash only.
Charges stem from St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation July 16 after deputies dispatched to assist Osceola Police Department with stopping two motorcycles traveling at a high rate of speed and failing to yield. Motorcycles were originally traveling northbound on Hwy 13. When they reached Lowry City they turned around and started traveling southbound on Hwy 13. Several deputies joined in attempt to stop the vehicles. While passing Hwy 82 speeds reached approximately 135 miles per hour.
Motorcycles continued south on Hway 13 into Polk County. As they approached Hwy 32, Bolivar, one motorcycle pulled over and stopped. Driver, Eric Woods, 21, Springfield, taken into custody and charged with class D felony resisting arrest by fleeing. Turner continued on and eluded law enforcement. He was not apprehended. During investigation it was discovered Turner’s driver’s license is revoked.
Torin White, 37, Kansas City, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of failing to register a motor vehicle. Bond set at $222 cash only.
Warrant issued June 8. Original charge stems from traffic stop conducted by St. Clair County Sheriff’s office deputy Aug. 1. During investigation it was determined White’s vehicle had an expired Kansas temporary license plate. Plate expired May 2014.
Aug. 17 – Clinton Oehring, 25, Rockville, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony possession of a controlled substance and class D felony resisting arrest for a felony. Bond set at $20,000 cash or surety.
Charges stem from incident the previous day when St. Clair County deputies were on patrol on H Hwy and conducted a traffic stop on vehicle Oehring was driving. When contact was first made with Oehring he identified himself as another individual. During investigation a clear glass container with residue inside that field tested positive for methamphetamine was located in his possession. While being taken into custody, Oehring fled on foot and was taken into custody after a short chase. A bag with a white powdery substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine was also located in the vehicle.
Skyla Carroll, 27, Osceola, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging her with class A misdemeanor hindering prosecution. Bond set at $7,500 cash or surety.
Charge stems from St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation June 26, when Carroll aided individual who was known to be wanted on several felony warrants.
