Revived, Renewed, Being Bold, Made for More; words that describe the 2021 El Dorado Christian High School Retreat. ECS Principal, Mrs. Kelly Bryson planned a surprise retreat for her high school students beginning on Thursday evening, February 25.  Even though several were returning from MoKan Basketball tournaments really late, she was ready!  Mrs. Bryson loaded their luggage (there was a lot) into vans and proceeded to lead the caravan of cars to Camp Galilee.  Welcomed by Camp Directors, Charles and Jodi Watkins at the West Cabin; all 23 people, parked, unloaded, and settled in for the evening. Over the next 72 hours, Mrs. Bryson and Ozark Christian College, Ministry student, Mr. Saxton Green, led the students in Faith-filled sessions, games, prayer, campfires, singing, praising God, reviving and renewing their faith; focusing on the Christian purpose God has for them.  This experience was such a huge blessing to ECS Students.  It gave them the hope, the boldness, the faith to continue on the path that God has in store for each of their lives.  Revived in Faith, Renewed in Love…”But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”  Isaiah 40:31.  “Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.” 2 Corinthians 13:11. Revived. Renewed.
