El Dorado R-2 School Board update

The El Dorado Springs R-2 Board of Education met on Thursday October 13, 2022. At 6:30PM, the board held a public hearing on the use of School Protection Officers in the district. The following people commented to the board: Roger Moore, Chance Cyr, David Rogers, Debra Marsh, Michelle Leroux and Tedi Payne.

Regular Open Session began shortly after 7 p.m. Mr. Oates gave a building/construction update. Dr. Barger gave an update on the CSIP Process and the public input phase that is occurring now.

The board approved the October budget update as presented., the head start memo of understanding, an updated game worker pay sheet, and a set of policy updates.

The board then discussed the high school student technology policy.

During closed session, the board approved an early graduation request from Drake Dobbs and approved Ashley Conard and Kevin McCullough as volunteer assistant wrestling coaches.
