FFA HOSTS BACK-TO-SCHOOL SOCIAL – On Aug. 31, we had 37 FFA members and 60 guests present at our Back-to-School Social. We informed the parents on upcoming events such as mum sales, PBR, Trivia Night, Chili Supper and our Homecoming Float. The FFA alumni came and served a great meal to everyone. We appreciate their support every year. The Super Farmer Contest was a new event this year that needed boy and girl partners. They had seven obstacles to complete as fast as possible. The last obstacle was one partner had to crack an egg on their partner’s head. If they were lucky they had a hard boiled egg, but if not they got a raw egg smashed on their head. Tough competition went on all night. Coming in at third place was Mallory Melton and Calvin Gish. Second place was Haylea Walker and Chevy Ashbaker. First place Mikayla Loane and Bradley McCulick.
