FFA SUNDAY – To start our FFA week experience Monday the 17 was our annual FFA scavenger hunt. We had nine teams who went around town competing to be the first team back to the Ag building. Tuesday the 18,  30 members gathered at the Opera House to eat popcorn and watch “8 seconds”. This was a great way to start out our very busy week.

We treat FFA week like a spirit week, so not only did we have fun activities outside of school but on Wednesday the 19  at school we had “ Overalls day.” Our members dressed in their overalls and had a fantastic time. On Thursday we had a career day. We had community members come and join us in the classroom to speak about the opportunities there are today. Friday was the annual tractor day parade. 22 members drove their tractors to school. At 2:15 we lined up and created a mini-parade for the whole Elementary to watch.

To wrap up our FFA fun Sunday the 23rd we attended the Missionary Baptist church. We had 25 FFA members show up in their official dress. The church even provided a meal for all the members who attended.
