Dads, granddads, and father figures mark your calendars.

The Good Dads, Strong Schools breakfast is set for Wednesday, April 9, at the El Dorado Springs Elementary School cafeteria. Registration and breakfast kick off at 6:50 a.m., with a short, family-friendly program to follow from 7:10 to 7:30 a.m.

This free event is a chance for father figures of elementary students to enjoy breakfast, spend quality time with their children, connect with other dads in the community, and take part in fun activities — including a chance to win raffle prizes.

Guests are encouraged to park in the stadium lot on Park Street or the Circle Drive lot on Grand Street. Greeters will be stationed at both the office entrance and the kindergarten wing to guide families to the registration table.

Although breakfast is free, organizers ask that attendees RSVP in advance to help with planning. To RSVP, simply email eldogooddads@gmail.com with your name and the number of attendees in your group.

Research continues to show that kids do better in school and life when dads are actively involved.

That’s why El Do Good Dads is also launching its new Good Dads 2.0 course — a supportive, down-to-earth program built just for dads. The course includes dinner, relatable scenarios, and practical tools to help strengthen fatherhood.

Good Dads 2.0 will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. For more details or to sign up, visit gooddads.com/good-dads-2-0 or email eldogooddads@gmail.com.

Because when dads show up, kids grow up stronger — and that’s something worth setting the alarm for.
