Kaylee Lower is a 9th year Cedar County 4-H member. She is a member is the Osage River 4-H Club.

She says, “My favorite thing about being a Cedar County 4-H member is having the opportunity to interact with fellow 4-H members at club meetings, council county meetings, and livestock shows. Throughout my time in 4-H, I have enjoyed watching fellow members grow and develop as leaders within the community. Over the years, I have learned the importance of serving others and giving back. I have been blessed with the opportunity to be a member of the Cedar County 4-H and cannot wait to watch our 4-H program to continue flourishing over the years.”

“In the fall of 2020, I will  attend the University of Missouri in Columbia to earn a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education Communications and Leadership and minors in Agricultural Economics and Animal Science. I would then like to work within an agricultural related company as a communications specialist or attend law school to specialize in agricultural law. I do plan to return home to the family farm and to continue raising beef cattle. My current career goals have been heavily influenced by my involvement in 4-H. Regardless of my future endeavors, I will remain active within the agricultural industry and fight for the rights of American farmers and agriculturalists.”
