SCHOLARBOWL TEAM COMPETES

SCHOLARBOWL TEAM COMPETES – Sarah King and Hunter Jacobs ranked in the top 10 scorers at the tournament, earning a medal for their efforts.The El Dorado Springs Scholar Bowl team participated in the Lakeland High School Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 5, with Sarah King, Hunter Jacobs, Brock Kirbey, and Ethan Roberts competing.  After going undefeated the first four games of pool play, the Bulldogs lost a nail-biter TO Appleton City that came down to the last question.  During the championship rounds, ElDo won one and lost two.  The two teams that beat then, St. Pius and Weaubleau, ended up getting 1st and 2nd in the tournament. The varsity record now stands at 10-6 while our Junior Varsity remains undefeated at 8-0. The Bulldogs will compete in a conference competition on Thursday, Jan.10, at home and will be in Nevada for Challenge Games on the 17th.
