SPEECH AND DEBATE RECEIVES SUPPORT FROM MASONIC LODGE

Tandi Leonard, head coach of the El Dorado Springs Speech and Debate Team, gratefully accepts a check of $500 from Clintonville Masonic Lodge member Jim Leonard. The Speech and Debate team has an upcoming two-day Joplin tournament which is scheduled to end at 11 pm Friday evening, Feb. 17 and resume at 7:30 am Saturday morning, Feb. 18. If the team were to travel to and from ElDo by bus both days, there would be very little down time for sleep. Therefore, the team is extremely happy that, due to the kind support of the Masonic Lodge, they will now be able to purchase lodging after the first day of competing in order to rest up for a very long second day of competitions.
Please mark your calendars now for the upcoming El Dorado Springs MS/HS Theater spring production of Parents Just Don’t Understand. Dates are March 3 @ 7 p.m., March 4 at 7 p.m. and March 5 at 3 p.m. This is a lighthearted, family-friendly comedy set in the ‘80s. The play is appropriate for all ages. EVERY family can relate to the chaos in this humorous rendition. You won’t want to miss out!
