Speech/Debate teams compete

This weekend the Speech and Debate team attended the Bronaugh Speech Tournament.

Four of our students made it to finals and several of those students made it in multiple events. Both duet teams were in finals with Naudiya Anderson and Carolyn Huff taking 6th in finals and Miakoda Fastdog and Mya Briscoe taking 3rd place. Then we had Carolyn taking home 5th place in Radio Speaking and Naudiya who took 1st place in preliminary rounds of Prose speaking and 5th place in finals Miakoda took 5th place in finals of Original Oratory, which is a self written piece.

We are so proud of all of our students for their hard work this weekend and bringing home some hardware.

Students will compete at two district events next month.
