GREAT PERFORMANCE – Last weekend, El Do MS/HS students successfully performed Twisted Tales of Poe, a staged radio drama with live sound effects. There were three play performances, plus a family night. Approximately 250 patrons in all came out in support of the cast and crew. This radio drama, based on the works of Edgar Allen Poe, was compromised of four of Poe’s

Davin Acevedo          most notable works: The Tell-Tale Heart, The Cask of Amontillado, The Raven,  and The Black Cat. According to theater director Tandi Leonard, the most difficult part of organizing this particular type of performance was getting all of the sound effects timed             Aleta Lyness

accurately. Leonard also stated that “all reviews I’ve heard were very positive.” The cast and crew are already looking ahead to what next year’s play choice may be.
