The El Dorado Springs Boy’s Basketball team finished the conference season Monday by hosting the Sherwood Marksmen. The Bulldogs took control of the game early and held a 28-14 halftime lead. El Dorado continued to expand the lead in the second half and came away with a 58-35 win. Ian Esry led the Bulldogs with 16 points. Preston Robison had 14 and Gaven Morgan added 10. The Bulldogs finished second in the conference with a record of 5-3.

El Dorado finished their regular season with a trip to Nevada. The Nevada Tigers dominated the game early and took a commanding 33-10 halftime lead. The Bulldogs played better in the second half but could not cut into the lead and lost 62-33. Ian Esry had 12 for the Bulldogs. El Dorado finished the regular season 11-13. They are the 4 seed in the district tournament and play Tuesday against the 5 seeded Butler Bears.
