El Dorado is 1-5 on the season with close games against Dadeville and College Hts. They are 1-0 in conference play with a big win over Buffalo Thursday night 18-13. Aidan Reeves was 5-5 with several good two-strike at-bats. Connor Bradley and Kaden Burley had two big hits each with runners in scoring position. Wyatt Van Gordon had a big hit in the 6th inning leading to eight runs. KanDyn Ewert settled in pitching after the first inning working into the 4th. Kaden Burley came in the 4th inning getting us out of a jam. Karson Burley was equally effective for us when he relieved his brother in the 6th inning as well as closing the game out for the Bulldogs.
Coach Mossman: “Anytime you start out conference with a win is huge as we begin conference play. Several upperclassmen played huge roles in our victory! Several of our young guys have stepped up for us doing so once again when the game was on the line. We battled all night being down as many as four runs, and then coming back in the 6th inning after losing our lead. That says a lot about our players and the program we are trying to build!”
