The Bulldogs started out the week losing to Butler 13-1 and Stockton 11-0. Kandyn Ewert threw the first four innings against Butler giving up just four runs. Connor Bradley, Marcus Mossman, Cooper Greathouse, and Karson Burley had hits against Butler. Connor Bradley started the game against Stockton and was followed by Caysen Stephens and Juris Leroux. Connor Bradley and Karson Burley carried the bulldogs offensively.

“The first two games this week were against two quality opponents. We faced some quality arms from both Butler and Stockton. We have to do a better job of putting the ball in play against quality pitching. I thought KanDyn did a nice job settling in after the first inning against Butler. He was able to give us a chance against Butler. I was also pleased with Connor, Caysen, and Juris. I thought they did a great job competing against a very good Stockton team.”
