The El Dorado Varsity Basketball Bulldogs played their first game of the new year on Friday at home against the Miller Cardinals. The first half was a close back and forth game. The Bulldogs held a 12-10 first-quarter lead and a 26-24 half time lead. 

El Dorado took control in the third quarter, outscoring Miller 19-9 and taking a 45 -33 lead into the fourth. The Bulldogs held the lead and got the win 55-45. 

Preston Robison led all scorers with 23 and Brayden Housh added 10. 

The Bulldogs are currently 3-4 on the season and start a busy January with three games this week. Monday is a home game against Warsaw. Thursday the Bulldogs travel to Bulter and Friday is court warming against Skyline.
