The 2021 football season came to close for the ElDo football team as they traveled to Grandy to take on the Patriots of East Newton. It was a battle of the 4 and 5 seed of the Class 2 District 4 match up.

Beckner said, “It’s been a crazy season, I hate to see it end for our seniors, they’ve battled tough since I’ve been here, I am proud of them and this team.”

The Bulldogs close out the year 2-8 (1-3 in conference play). They will lose 8 seniors this year, all of whom will go on and graduate at the conclusion of the school year. “That’s always the number one goal, get kids to graduate. It’s the first step in their lives of working towards something and achieving it long term. I am ecstatic that each of seniors has a plan in place and is working towards it.”

As the season draws to a close for the rest of the football season, please be on the lookout for for future information on the Bulldogs post season awards.

The El Dorado Springs football program would like to thank each and everyone who has donated money, time or effort into this season. It takes a tremendous amount of help and organization to achieve the goals we want to achieve as a program and the community that supports it is awesome. Until next season, keep grinding Bulldogs.
