CONTESTED SHOT – Coach Joel Braden said, The early part of the basketball season continued for the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs as they hosted the Buffalo Bison in the first conference basketball game the Bulldogs have played in over 20 years. The Bulldogs got off to a hot start making six three-point baskets in the first half but trailed 26-27 at halftime. El Dorado made six more threes in the second half to win their first conference game 57-51. Shelby McKinney led all scorers with 19 points and Brayden Housh (shown here against the Adrian Blackhawks) added 10.

The Bulldogs were back at it on Tuesday night and hosted the Adrian Blackhawks. The shooting the Bulldogs had displayed the night before could not be found and the Blackhawks ran away with a 59-24 win. Shelby McKinney led El Dorado with 9 points. The Bulldogs continued conference play Friday night against the Sherwood Marksman.
