Wednesday, Dec. 13, the El Dorado Spring High School Cross Country Team was recognized by the School Board for their Accomplishments during the 2023 Cross Country Season.

Coach Brian Goatley highlighted some of the big accomplishments for the School Board and those in Attendance.

This year all 4 teams (HS Boys, HS Girls, MS Boys and MS girls) swept the Ozark Highlands Team Titles for the 2nd year in a row, with the MS Boys having 4 boys All Conference, the MS girls having 5 girls All Conference, the High School Boys having 5 boys All conference and the HS Girls having 3 girls All Conference.  (All Conference was top 10 in each race)

The High School Boys team repeated as Class 3 District 2 Cross Country Team Champs advancing to the Class 3 State meet

The High School Boys team had 5 Individuals with all District Honors: Wyatt Klaiber, Braxton Watts, Shane Fletcher, Sylas Fletcher and Logan Fisk

The High School Girls team had 3 Individuals with all District Honors to Advance to the Class 3 State Meet Individually:  Audrey Goatley, Hanna Ridgway and Christian Steuck.

At the Class 3 State Cross Country Meet, Audrey Goatley, Wyatt Klaiber and Braxton Watts received All-State Honors.

The High School Boys team finished as the Class 3 State 2nd Place Team, finishing just 2 points behind the State Champions.
